The brand Graf von Henneberg Porzellan originates from Ilmenau where, in 1973, all small porcelain factories in the region were brought together in a new factory am Eichicht. The name refers to the Counts of Henneberg, to whose county the town once belonged. Today, household and hotel porcelain of the Graf von Henneberg brand is produced at Porzellanwerk Triptis.
